Assuming you are putting them the Skeeter in your avatar, electric hands down. No pump to put in your boat. Less trouble and less maintenance. No need to go hydrolic on a boat that size/weight.Lenco makes a great tab.

Lenco's are hard to beat for small boats.
They are quick acting and easy to install.
