Okay, hit the lake for the first time in a while that was not a quick afternoon trip to Turners. Birds picking mid to south lake with 8" trout and gafftop under them. Wasted 2 hours or so on them and not one keeper. Hit Long Point and picked up a couple of trout. Found some bait mid lake and started throwing top water. Pulled off at least 8 and ended up with 15 for me and daughter. May head out again in the morning.

Water was decent everywhere. Quite a few boats on the lake, but not as many as I expected. Definately some dumb### out there.

Had a first today, caught a 12" gafftop on a black super spook. Been fishing the lake for 40 years or so and this was the first time for one on top water.
