As long as you bring home the meat, it ain't a bad day.

Did the weather turn to crap today?
It did up in Lake Charles. Poured for a couple hours.

I hit the lake Saturday morning... we caught 10 reds (16-18 inches), 2 specks, 2 flounder, 3 drum, and 1 sheapshead. All reds/drums/sheapshead were caught at the jetties... but it was slow, took a good 4 hours to catch this! All fish were caught on gulp swimming minnow.

It was a rough weekend for trout fishing. Full moon, extra strong tides and wind blowing all over the compass. I fished the S.A.L.T. tournament out of Pleasure Island, Texas and a 7.57lb won it with a 4.90 taking 3rd. All those fish came off the Sabine jetties. The best I could do was 4.88lb trout out of Big Lake.
