Default Sunday Reds

Dularge Redfish
The Dularge redfish action has been very good the past few weeks. I fished with Walter Voorhies and David Lazczak from New Iberia Saturday evening and Sunday morning. We got a very late start Sat. evening as we had very bad thunderstorms to contend with until about 5:30 pm. Lightening strikes hit the marsh 2 days in a row right behind the camp creating small marsh fires both Fri & Sat. We started fishing around 6:15 Sat until 8:00pm only catching 5 nice reds. Sunday was a slow start as the tide didn't move and the reds were not feeding at my usual hotspots. We picked up a few fish at all locations and broke off on some nice reds. We found some good reds later in the day ending up with 13 or 14 keepers for the day. Always fun fishing with Walter & David and they want to get in on some trout action if the closures are ever lifted for our area. Taking it one day at a time as thats all we can do. Good luck fishing.
