Thats a real fish.........Its not a Speck but I think its in the same family.... I believe these fish are off the Carolina coast area.....

They have them Weakfish in the Chesapeke Bay. Trout, good eating, but not a Speck.

I have caught many of these spotless fish offshore at one particular rig. I always thought they were either giant sand trout. Or some kind of spotless speck

thats a big weakfish! fished just like trout too. the coolest thing is the school trout sized weakfish are like 3 pounds to 5 pounds. wierd to think people catch that all day long. def. not as prized as a 5 pound speck in my book

we called them grey trout in virginia...other names are weakfish/summer trout
