Hairout *** happened 2 catch and release??

ill tell you what happened to catch and relaase , i was at the wl&f meeting this morning . what happened is just what i thought would happen a bunch of crybabies that are on bp's tip milking then for money cried like a bunch of babies! they are scared that if fishing is opened to catch and release then bp will tell them thier services are no longer needed due to them being able to run trips again, which in turn meens no more gettin paid to sit on your arse!!!! the other thing is the people who cry "if i wanna eat fish i dont need the govt telling me i cant" give me a break !! its to cover thier arse because louisiana is one of the most "sue happy" states . redicilous. why couldnt they just be happy with the fact WE were gonna be able to catch fish, to the ones whining i garantee they are the ones who have a freeze full of fish most likeley with dates written on em from 2 yrs ago!! you dont need to kill everythign you catch!!!!!!! just my 2cents .

I was listening to the meeting....except for ~15 min. when the audio went out. Yea, there were a few crybabies when it came to the fish closing issue. Old Dudley gave an entertaining talk and brought up some good points.

The presentations on Ducks and Duck hunting was informative.....wish I could have seen the slides that he was showing. That survey information was good also.

They set the dates for Dove, Teal, and other birds. Teal season will be Sept. 11 - 26.....4 birds [I think that is correct]. Dove season will be about the same as last year.

This meeting was longer that normal......over 2.5 hours.

this sounds like a ploy to me that LDFW put in place to keep the drama down at the meeting. It seems awfully coincidental that the day before the meeting they open all closed waters to C and R and then the day after the meeting they close them back down again. I say it is a nice game of dirty pool. A lot of people got hustled..... me included.
