Default beginners luck !

this passed weekend i took a friend of mine that is a die hard bass fisherman to big lake for some trout and red fish action ! well low and behold his first big lake trout was 26 in long and weighed 5.4 pounds that i tagged and released ! what a way to start a trip ! my dad made the morning trip with us which was the better parts of the day for us, i was glad he was able to catch a some fish ! we caught a few fish but mostly under size trout with a few keepers mixed in ! the red fish action was good at times ! the afternoon trip wasnt so good for us, didnt catch to much ! here a few pics from the trip ! i got the bass fisherman wanting to go back
