Default Big Lake/Turners 7-24-10

Spent most of the day at Turners and the ship channel next to it...picked up alot of 15" reds and a few short trout...one keeper trout that fell off at the boat ....ended the day with 2 keeper reds.....seems all they wanted to bite on for us was chartreuse gulps tipped with shrimp....we left by noon..

my buddy got a treble hook buried in his hand....i was able to push it through and pull it through with some pliers..hehe... other than that it was hot as hell..but fun to get out on the water with some old friends...

that hurts worse than the hook going in. My dad is a paramedic that these (2) items are in his "Hook removal kit" in the boat !!!
