nimbus 73 and i did well yesterday considering the wind and water condition. finally found some decent fish in west cove. 21 decent trout and 3 reds

The oyster boats don't usually hit hard till the shirmp season dwindles down.
But no one is catching shrimp offshore right now.
Also, most want to catch the better oysters on the East side of the lake.
They are thicker, not the so called Lizard Tongues like on the West Cove.

No pics of the mess we caught, but this is a 6 pound trout for you. The rest were 2 to 2 1/2 lbs. Got ran off the water by a rain storm about 1:00.
