Default Good redfish bite

Caught a limit of reds, threw many more back and still left em biting this morning. Also threw one white trout, one black drum, and a crab into the box as well

Didn't go due to wind. So, what general area did you go that I guess I should have gone?

Same "area" I considered today but winds were 15+ here in Gonzales so I figured it would be unbearable down there. Guess I was wrong!

no it was bad. thats why we didnt get any trout. there were 3+ rollers in some areas. we just got lucky on 2 good holes. one hole produced 9 keepers and about 3-4 more that were over 27" that had to be thrown back. Then we moved to another hole that was LOADED. we were watching em swim all around the boat. We'd just pitch a spoon in front of them and it was on. We finished out the limit there. We then tried to go find some clean water to get on some trout but that wasn't happening. Everyone else we saw wasnt catching anything and everyone we talked(didnt talk to many people though) to hadnt caught anything.

Yeah, with only my crawfish skiff to go in, 3 ft waves are not very fun! Maybe next weekend? Been saying that for almost 6 months now though! Always somethin, so it seems.
