I helped 2 young guys Friday evening on jet ski's. one of them broke down. I loaned them a rope so one could tow the other. When they got to the prien dock, the coasties was waiting and combing the boats as they came in. The two guys got ticketed for no safe boating cards and no lights as it was dark by the time they got back. I got checked from bow to stern and recieved a warning ticket due to not being able to find one of my four noise makers in the dark. Guess I should consider myself lucky. The next morning I looked in my radio compartment and there was the whistle. It's now tied to my key so I can locate it when asked.

I stopped to (I thought) assist a cop on a motorcycle on hwy 339.......he was just leaning on the bike, not radaring or anything.....I stop, get out, ask if he needs anything and he replys....I noticed you weren't wearing your seat belt......I stopped dead, couldn't believe what I'd just heard......asked him again if he needed anything, he said no, so I turned to my van, and got In......he was trying to say something to me, but I just ignored him, didn't make eye contacts and drove off.........

What an ***......

I got caught by 210 in 2007 just a little after sundown without nav lights.
They reviewed my paperwork, asked me to keep my hands out of my pockets, asked if I had any weapons onboard (pointed to knife in pocket) while standing beside a 60 cal. machine gun. Was given a summons that had to remain onboard for three years and told if they caught me out again that night I would be arrested. HUH?? They left me to head in without said navigation equipment that they issued the citation for on my own. On the way in I am thinking that CG did the same thing as letting a drunk drive himself home after getting pulled over for DWI.
