Dude, you need to get the HTC EVO, I got one a couple months ago and I love it. I'm heading to Aransas Pass today so I'll get to try out 4G on it.

First thing to get is not a App it is the Otter Case. That think is tough and water proof. Great phones. I also have AT&T and we do ok with it. I really have no real complaints.

weather apps, tide app, games...angry birds for sure...

I had verizon no complaints...but it would not work on Big Lake or in Cameron well...so I switched to ATT. Service is decent but more dropped calls etc. I have no problems on the lake or in cameron at all...

I went to radio crap today and looked at the evo and the epic. Evo looks sweet but the epic also has the slide out keyboard. I email all day on my phone so with the evo will it hog a bunch of screen or should I go epic?

Apps are not a problem. Now teaching the wife, that's a whole nother story.

I'll post a list of must have apps when I get back to a computer.

Definately get these apps: CBS Sports, Fishin' 2 Go, LSU Tigers Football, Pandora, ESPN Score Center, Task Manager, and The Weather Channel

It should come with Sprint Football Live, it is by far the best app IMO. I used it last night while at a wedding on a riverboat in New Orleans, we were able to watch the LSU game on my phone til the boat tied back up to the dock and we were able to get to a bar and watch the rest of the game.
