Great day on the DU! Whacking the trout everyday is becoming routine and my 6 man crew enjoyed every minute of it. Capt Gerald Ellender helped me out with Clayton Breaux/Seacor Marine. I fished with Andy Rulf, Clayton Breaux and Yarub Faisil. Capt Gerald fished with Kirk Aucoin,Derek Jarrett, and Stuart Binding. Andy set the tone as he was stepping in the boat he predicted 100 trout. He was right and he caught number 100 around noon. Capt Gerald finished up with between 50-75 nice fish with his crew. Double rigged LSU & limetreuse chubs did the trout in. Clayton also wore them out under a cork for a while. Yarub caught his largest fish ever as he had fun tackling a 25lb bull red on light tackle. The big fish gobbled up his LSU chub. A very enjoyable trip! We saw plenty of ducks as it looks like the birds are moving in more & more everyday. Good luck fishing.
