Default V-Bay Sunday

Made a very short trip to V-Bay with the wife Sunday. Did not get to Cypremort Pt until noon and put the yaks in and paddled around until 2:00 just to ck out the conditions. Very windy and tough to fish. Water was still ok near the park but getting cloudy. Only a few boats scattered around. Caught a couple of nice trout but tired of fighting the wind and called it quits early. Still managed enough for a fish fry for dinner. Try again later this week after the front settles in.

Nice! What color did they prefer in the murkier water? I'm still trying to figure that out. I can catch in clear water but once it gets stained I can't buy a bite

Still caught them on glow/chart plastics fished very slow on the bottom. Did not fish long enough to try anything else. I heard the water was dirty in the weeks bay area.
