Default Any CPA's here?

Ok.

So last year I worked 5 months as a student.

The other 7 months after I graduated I worked as full time on my own tax Id.

How do I do this on my taxes? Can I just do a 1040 ez and claim all year?

The 1040EZ is generally setup for somoene that will not file itimized deductions or have other complications. I have a checklist that I can email you if you send me a PM with your email address.

If your question was can you claim yourself as a dependent, it is likely that you can and should as your parents probably cannot claim you because you wouldn't pass their dependency test. I can help you with this or TurboTax will figure it out for you and run the test.

If you are getting a 1099 and not a W2 then you will likely file a 1040 as there are some great deductions for "contractors" that W2 employees cannot take.

PM me if you would like to talk in detail.
