Default COSTAS

I am about to get a new pair of costas. Mine are somewhere on the east bank Make you a deal if you find them brine green mirror! I want to try a new style and lense color. I want the Blackfins tortoise frame 580s either in the silver mirror w/ copper base or gray, or amber... need an all around everyday/driving good pair of glasses but also preform on the water.

Do yourself a favor and check out SolarBat.com in "Mossback" tint. Best I've ever worn and over the years I've worn a bunch of em. Got a pair of 580's for birthday back in Sept., wore 'em about a month, gave 'em to a nephew and went back to SB. Great for fishing and driving and I do a lot of that. When diving tint makes rain almost disappear. No sponsor stuff here just a happy customer.

just my 2 cents...(considering green mirror, blue mirror, and bronze).., from experience (on toledo, big lake, florida flats, to deep sea fishing, I've found the bronze lenses to produce the best all around image while viewing through the water, and they're also good while driving even in cloudy conditions.

Hey Shaw, speaking of costas can you look at the end of your drive way for me. I lost one of the rubber pieces that go over the arms on the costas I had on at your house the other day. Thinkin it may have fallen out when I got out my truck.

I own the Blackfins and I absolutely love them! Will never go back to the smaller frames. Blocks out all the light!

If you go to the Costas website, it'll describe and explain all the different lenses. I think from what you are asking the Amber lense will be best suited. but I'm partial to the mirror lenses both blue and green. I've worn Costas for the past 5 years or so and aboslutely love them.....only problem so for is that they don't float real well. I've drown two pair....;-(

I don't think you can go wrong with this color....even going off the website...i find amber lenses never let you down no matter the water color or light conditions. Here's an example...while fishing off the coast of hawaii i had my brine 580 blue mirror tint lenses and could see the fish well....but when i switched (just for comparison) to my 580 amber lenses for some reason i was able to see the fish a little more clearly below the surface. The greens and blues might look cooler...but to me the amber/bronze lenses are the best all around.

I do know that no matter which lense you choose....you'll love em
