Default Crabs at Weirs

Well i go back in from offshore march 22nd,what i like to find out if the Crabs still biting at the Weirs @Big Lake..
Thanks I am planing on going Wed. the 23 rd if wind and weather OK.

I had a good friend go about a week ago back behind Grand bayou and said it was really slow catching crabs.

When it's cold, they bury up till the sun warms up the water.
As soon as the water temps. get up, you will catch.

For some strange reason you can tear up the crabs in the coldest winter days in rockefeller refuge. Someone I work with catches them year round over there. Big ones too.

If water is deeper, they will be there. Or running from deep to shallow.

I took my girlfriend crabbing there yesterday had 6 dozen within an hour all were good size and delicious!
