Default 5 Footers on the Lake!

WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM PDT THIS EVENING

A WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM PDT THIS EVENING. * WINDS: SOUTHWEST 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 55 MPH. * WAVE HEIGHTS: 2 TO 4 FEET WITH WAVES NEAR 5 FEET ON THE NORTHERN AND EASTERN SECTIONS OF LAKE TAHOE. * SMALL BOATS INCLUDING ALL WOODEN OR FIBERGLASS BAY BOATS WILL BE PRONE TO CAPSIZING AND SHOULD REMAIN OFF LAKE WATERS. * IMPACTS: TRAVEL WILL BE HAZARDOUS DUE TO THE STRONG WINDS ON INTERSTATE 80 AND HIGHWAY 50 AND OVER ALL MOUNTAIN PASSES.

.................................................. ......

At the Lake Tahoe Hyatt with Sweety celebrating 25 years of wedded bliss. This is the view of the Lake's edge outside our cabin and some pics as we came in.

These are definitely 2-4s with a few 5s thrown in. Thought the small boat warning above was timely.

Man I'm gonna have to get that cabin info from you. We went to Lake Tahoe for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. We wanna go back in the next few years and would like to rent a cabin on the lake like that.

No problem. We're having a great time. Very relaxing with al the beautiful scenery. The wind's whippin'!

We're at the Hyatt and booked the Lakeside Lodge. Get an upstairs room. Private beach. Big fire ring. Restaurant right next door. Got a fire going right now. Heading to wine country tomorrow via scenic route. through the Sierra Nevadas.
