Default new cowling decals

I bought these off of Ebay to replace the decals that are peeling off of my cowling. The one with the sailfish goes on the rear of the cowling and mine will say SaltWater instead of Optimax.
What ya'll think?

why is it that all mercury decals tend to peel off? I've seen more mercs on the water with after market decals or no decals than any other motor. Even my opti has a spot that's beginning to want to peel.

O yeah! I like!

x2. i think its because of the black cowling. try to keep your hand on one during the summer. that plus engine heat i think they just cook off.

a dealer told me that the sun is the main culprit (add that to the black color, too). He advised me to keep a canvas motor cover on it if not under a carport.

CRAP! I just got a new set for my motor a few weeks ago. I would have gotten some like yours. Those are pretty sweet!
