Two on your Engine Bracket is the ultimate. Lives room for ladder. With one, probly either way is okay. Mine is transom mount and works great. Wish I had a second...but I got a ladder on the other side.

I thought you were going with the Talon? When I get mine it will be on an Engine Bracket. I like the look of the install and don't want the holes in my Transom. Also like the idea of being able to take it off when I get a new boat without leaving holes.

Ladder will be installed on the Portside. I kind of like the bracket some have told me it gives it some flexability. I thought about a Talon but they have had some issues, a friends would not come up, several guys I know also have some problems so its a power pole for me. Boat should be ready on June 22nd.

Either way they work fine. If you mount on the transom you can do it at home, bracket you have to pull the motor

The boat and motor are being put together in Aransas Pass at Chris marine within the next 2 weeks. So I got time to decide. I am thinking going with the bracket.

If at dealer go with the bracket. That way it will be sealed correctly. What boat and motor? Congrats.

Mine is mounted on the plate ! I find the the plate allows a lil more flex for some rough water ! Lessens the chance of breaking something ! IMO

Very nice. Another nice thing with using the bracket the p pole lines can follow the engine controls in.
