Default Big Lake 8-6-09

Me Mitch.M and Greg.M hit the lake this morning... We limited out at 10:00AM this morning..... We tagged about 12 trout and call it a day....

good catch guys. were they caught on artificial or live? If artificial, do you mind sharing the color?

You don't need a cork!!!!!!

Most of the fish you are seeing are caught on soft plastic or Topwater has been good.

I would start with a Glow / chart color bait on a 1/4 oz jig head. Other colors that should catch trout are LSU, white and green or chartuse.

The lake water has cleared up from what it was a few days ago. Most consistent fishing has been along the ship channel where there is a "Point" to create a little water movement. Or fish a "flat" area just off of the main channel.

Ok I see you potlicked my hole again. In between you and W Iam going to have to camp out to keep ya away. JJ good catch man again some nice trout. Looks like its fixing to bust loose again
