Default Calcasieu Lake

Made my first ever trip to fish Calcasieu lake yesterday. Only put 4 fish (2 flounder, a red and a speck) in the boat but had a good time. Ready for my next day off so I can try it again.

So would this be considered "fishing a cycle"? :
1 redfish (single)
2 flounder (double)
3 specs (triple)
4 Drum (homerun)

Good job, takes a little while to learn, but a fun place to fish.

Nice catch bro. Big lake is not as easy to fish as people make it look. It takes some time to figure out.

take that nasty drum off the bottom and put "triple tail" then that would be a fishing cycle.
