Default Big Lake 6-24-11, Relaxing Day!

Hit the Lake today around 3:00 And had a good wind kicking, wasn't expecting much of a day but I had a cooler full of beer and some tunes playin so I headed south. Got into West Cove and tucked away in a semi protected area with alot better looking water than I was expecting. Ended the day with 17 trout and 4 reds, and 8 Bud Lights down. Tagged 6 of the trout and 2 Reds out of tags now, but everything was released to fight another day, hopefully tomorrow lol. Everything was caught on Glow/Chart Sand Eel Jr.'s and Jerk Jr.'s water clarity wasn't the best but decent. All in all had a good chilled out afternoon to my self, been a while since I fished by myself and it was nice! Headed out in the morning with the girlfriend and a buddy, good luck to all y'all fishing the tourney!

Nice. Nothing like the peace and quiet of fishing alone sometimes.

Nice catch homes. I like bass fishing alone. I think its cuz I usually release everything and I don't have somebody at the back of the boat saying "man keep dat"

Old myth has it rub some mud on your hands and before it dries wash it off, they say it the oils from your body that you put onto your bait makes the fish non attracted...i just heard that, but how many times you been with a partner and one of yall is smoking them and yall are throwing same bait same spot same twitch and you cant catch....just think about it........try it..
