Default Todays Catch

Had to wait out a few big thunder-boomers about 5 am on Vermilion bay.
Got to the reefs about 7 am. It was on. Caught about 34 between 2 fisherman.

Alot in the 22-23" size. Had several in the 24-26 " range. Weight one for CCA STAR in the SW zone; it went 5.42.

My friend wasn't in the STAR (Whats That?) He Had one 1" longer than mine. His was a little over 6#. Only his second time trout fishing? Go FIGURE!!!!

Was leading the SW when I left Maxie Pearce Grocery about 2 PM.

All caught on Plastic and Gulp.

Thanks

Biggun

Very nice catch, when you say reefs, i assume you mean the reefs outside the pass. How did the water look?

GUY!! GUYS !!! GUYS! The reefs! The Water is great! Anybody that knows fishing the V-bay area knows the Reefs I speaking of? Don't want any POTLUCKERS from BL coming this way!!!! Just kidding Guys!!!

Had one boat use his trolling motor to get right on the spot I was casting and set his anchor then Got mad that I was casting at his boat and landing my bait within 2'.

Go Figure!

Nice catch. Good to see a little action going on in the bay. I have heard of hit and miss reports arround. Good for you your buddy don't know what the STAR was. I bet he joins before the next trip.
