Default Ethanol treatment

Does anyone know where i can find the cheapest treatment in the lafayette area? the prices at west marine weren't the cheapest, i was thinking Academy or wal-mart might have the best deals. Anyway, lemme know if y'all know some good deals on treatment.

non of it is cheap, stabil ethanol treatment isn't cheap but it last a while, seafoam isn't cheap either but it works! you looking for a stabilizer or just something to add, I go through the trouble of finding ethanol free gas.

Tim....the stations over here are drying up! I use the 1 at Congress and rue debillier......nice folks. Go that route instead of treatment.

yeah over here too, some of the conoco stations are still advertizing no ethanol, I've been using supreme gas in my boat and a little seafoam added after the trip if I can't find it, just don't let gas sit in a tank for too long. 3 months and that gas isn't any good anymore.

Go with stabil and change water separator filter on regular basis . Best price is @ Acadamy. West marine are proud of all items in store .

From what I've read startron is the best for treating gas with ethanol. It definitely treats more gas than seafoam and stabil. An eight ounce bottle treats 128 gallons of gas. I think the price at Wal-Mart or Academy is around the same as a can of seafoam or stabil.

I been using startron for a while now, havent had any problems(knock on wood). Cheapest place by far was off of ebay. You usually have to buy in quantity to get the best deal, but I figure the ethanol is gonna be around for a while.

I use the Yamaha product and have used it on both of my motor with good results it is the ring free plus which has the ethanol treatment in with the cabr and fuel injector cleaner. Used it in my weedeater and it ran better. 1oz treats 10 gal. and the price is decent at the yamaha shop.
