Slimer Scrubbed the floaters!

Well, the tuna will have to wait, we scrubbed the trip this morning after the seas were pushed to 2-3's. With the ladies on board for a 110 mile run, we would end up in the dog house for sure!

So I'm going sling some trout this weekend.,.............at night................and I'm bringing my new light!

Its been pretty bumpy here in Texas, so if you go far enough south you'll find 2-3s!

That's impact. That's who I use.

I've seen them wrong 2 times in the past 25 trips or so . And right at least 20 of our trips. Down to the hour

Yea. They are the most accurate for the most part. That's who the pilot boats use. All the other marine forecasts are pretty much the same and theyve missed several times before I started using impact.

Glad we scrubbed the trip. We would have been miserable!

I decided to sneak out yesterday for specs/3tail out of Pecan Island. It was 3-5's and we put the boat back on the trailer and headed home. Talked to one of my inspectors in Ship Shoal, they were looking at 4-6's and he actually suspended work for 3 hours due to high winds.
That's what I call "impact" weather!

Yea impact missed it big yesterday. That's the second time I've seen em miss. But we battled it out yesterday and got our azzes kicked for it. Didn't catch but 2 fish ran out 40 miles and to add insult to injury we had to run through a lightning storm comin into the jetties!!

HI Guys!!! I use Impact and Wilkens both. I fished Tuesday night @ E.I. 74. They forecasted 1-2'ers. We got to Burns and it was 2' CHOP at the landing.

3- 4' CHOP @ 74. Fished for 2 hours and about 5 nice later, flanged it up. Came back in 4's. Was hard to stand up when current is ripping one way and waves coming from another way. They MISSED it big time.
