Default Bank fishing in Lake Charles 10/13/2011

Boat didn't start, forgot to turn on the Perko swithc under the console, so ran to the Civic Center and fished the hump by the city marina.
Pulled in a few on Zara Pup topwater and the rest on Glow DOA Shrimp under a popping cork.
Had 3 o 4 that I had to measure, no throw backs.
Winds were North, then West, then SW, then WSW, then stopped.

I think you are the first person I have ever seen catch that many trout from the bank! If you had a pirouge there would be no more fish in the lake!

I have caught that many before, but different spots.
I am just learning places up here.
I know the water ways pretty good, just don't know
where to fish yet.

Just got home from offshore. Not sleeping well out there. Zonked out last night and didn't wanna wake up. But perservered and caught fishes.
Had a lot of blow ups from small ones, but none of them were hooked.

I been watching the Reds spanking the bait there in the evenings.
Figgered they would be there in the morning too.

Ray that is a very good spot at night. You can catch large gar there also. I am gonna take a shot in the morning. Not sure where to start or what to throw. But If I am not out there I won't catch them from home.

I am off for 3 weeks. You pick a day and time. I will be there.
Busy on the weekends, but week days are good for me.
