Default Lake Charles Urgent Care Review

After an incident in the goose blind involving some stiff grass stabbing me in my ear drum, I decided I should get it checked out (I figured it was nothing but wanted to be sure). I PM'ed DrJay, who just started Lake Charles Urgent Care and is a site sponsor, to get some advice on my ear. He gave me some good advice and I decided it would be best to go see him.

I just wanted to say that I couldnt have enjoyed my experience more during my visit. The facility is very nice and the employees are even nicer. Everyone I encountered was great from the front desk lady to the nurses. And Dr. Jay was also very nice and helpful, and I could tell that he really cares about the well being of his patients. He even personally called my house yesterday evening to follow up that I was still ok. And best thing of all, they are a clinic that TAKES INSURANCE!

All in all I highly recommend Lake Charles Urgent Care and Dr. Jay for any time you get jacked up or sick and dont feel the hospital is necessary. Thanks Dr. Jay for a pleasant experience.

Man that happened to me one time in the marsh. Stabbed in the ear so hard it brung me to my knees. It was that tall, pointed grass that I call onion grass because it looks like giant green onions. Very sharp on the end. Felt like it stabbed me in da brain.

Think the "grass" is probably a rush, not that it matters, the ears are very sensitive.

This may sound like an IronMan story, but no Marines were called and no houses were broken into and no guns involved

First off, I will grab an alligator, cobra, rattlesnake, or chupacabra by the tail, I am not scared of much, but what terrifies me are cockroaches, and if they fly towards me i will scream like a girl Friend of mine was at an outside party and a cockroach flew INTO his ear, got all up in his ear and he passed out from the pain. Sucker was diggin all up in there. The doc had to pull it out in pieces.

The owner of my company called yesterday morning sick as a dog...told him to try your facility. Called me later and said he was very impressed with the service. He stated his doctor was very polite and very knowledgeable. (think the doctor was origanally from texas). Kudos Dr. Jay!!

Thanks guys! I appreciate the business. I do my best to make sure our patients leave feeling better, and our staff really understands the "service" side of it. I know you guys have a choice where you go when you are sick, and I want to make sure you come to me!

On another note, it's funny that your owner came in yesterday when I was off (after working the last 2 weeks straight). Of course the one day I had to go fishing, the front comes rolling in. Never fails! Ha.......no flounder for me.
