Default Late Christmas Weekend Report

It has been a little slow for me the past few hunts I have made. I was off work the Friday before Christmas and the Monday after Christmas.

I hunted Friday morning in Klondike with my buddy Jacob Hagen, Mr. Craig Burns, and Mr. James Meyers. There was a big time lack of birds for some reason and we ended the day with 4 specks. Should have had a few more but passed on a good shot we should have taken. My dad hunted in Welsh and killed their 5 man limit.

Saturday I hunted again in Klondike with my buddy Dave and his brother James. We killed 5 specks but hunted until 10:45. Again a lack of birds in that area and again, my old man popped limits in Welsh.

Didn't hunt Sunday, but Monday I took some friends from Morgan City. We hunted on the same farm as our Welsh blind and it was pretty bad. We killed 3 birds. Had Mr. James guiding for us in the blind and they shot at one bird all morning. The birds just layed low and the few that did move acted very strange. Of course the morning I show up to the hotter blind, I bring the bad luck!
