Has anyone used Durbak? I just saw their website and it looks like pretty good stuff. It's about $119 per gallon. http://www.durabakcompany.com/marine.htm

What ever you do, do not paint it "white" because there is too much glare. It looks nice when freshly painted but also too hard to keep clean.

| Hydro-Turf

If you have any cracks in the gel-coat any type of paint may only be a temporary solution. The paint will allow for some expansion but it will bubble or crack if your gel-coat is in real bad shape. If the paint cracks it will trap moisture and excelerate the gel-coat cracking and possibly allow wood rot and structural issues. I have used the paint on a few boats, but I would recomend hydro-turf. |
