I've seen reds gaffed...works well. Long gaff for fishing off a bridge

I see where a gaff would be easy....when I catch a red that big....I pop my line...unless ot has a $10 bait on the other end....then I get to boat and work it out its mouth

I keep them 7# filet em keep the top half and cube em up.....thats the best way to eat the hammas.......gone get some hammas tomorrow in my redfish hole....... c ya...
