Default Labor Day Big Lake (turners bay)

Left the house about 4:45 am.... get to the launch.... put boat in.... get some bait.... went and hit turners bay.... 2' waves....NOTHING ... went to east side of lake to get out of the wind..... NOTHING.... was about 9:30ish... getting aggravated.... popped open a cold one to help me think.... Went to W's spot (weirs).... 234823492659734958793845 boats.... some how, made it through.... picked up one flat... came back through still 3214987293847987593487534 boats in there.... headed over to "Moss lake"..... NOTHING...... went to the old steam engine.... 311234434534 lady feesh.... went back into turners bay.... GAME ON BABY !!!! Had all 4 of us hooked on reds.... My dad caught a NICE SPECK... 4.8Lbs... caught numerous hard heads (played hardhead baseball).... Seen a spotted gar feesh about 2' long, tried spearing it with a 2X4.... All in all we had a blast, not that many people in turners... they were all in the weirs.... lol... finished with 4 happy people, 7 reds 4 black drum 3 flats and i think 15 or so white trout and a few specks.... Oh. yeah... caught a flounder on a she dog on top.... i was shocked...
