Default Shrimp or Crab?

What should I stuff this big girl with? Hooked her in Turners this morning around 930 just off a little reef. Thought I had a croaker until she got about 15 feet from the boat and decided she didn't want to swim that direction any more. Jaw was so thick I almost couldn't get my boga on. 23" and a little over 6 lbs live weight, down to 5.5 at Cal Point 4 hours later.

Water was pretty clear in Turners, crystal clear toward the south end of the ship channel. Talked to a guy that was cleaning some reds and flounder at Cal Point who said they had caught everything up at the LNG. He said, "We caught a bunch of trout up there all of them around 14", but I hate messing with those things so we threw them all back!"

Sorry about the bad pic, one-handed with a sorry camera phone.

Oh yeah, avoid Big Lake Hwy between Country Club and Gauthier, sat waiting on the construction crew for 20 minutes today.

Was talking to bottom of the boot the other day about his 3 pounder. I bet that would be good with some jambAlaya or boudin stuffing
