Cheers Monday Trout Slam 5-14-12

Sure was nice having two days off to rest and spend with family. Back to doing what we do best again, whacking and stacking the fish!!!! Great time spent with Neil, Wendy, and Kierstyn Spratt today. My crew started the morning off with a hot bite with fish coming in from all directions. 1-2 at a time on the double rigs. Every trout caught on plastic as the few minnows we brought only caught hard-head catfish as usual. Avocado Matrix Shad, and Purple Tiger Highlife Swimmers were the most productive baits today (better have you some). When our bite slowed down we made a move and found some fish over 4 pounds. Slow steady retrieve is what the fish wanted and they were not very aggressive at all, until they knew they were hooked!!! LOL We left the trout biting to go look for reds, but never found any to bite as they had lockjaw!! Thanks again guys as it was a pleasure fishing with you.

Give me a call as my dates are limited, but we have 10 Capt's that will put you on the fish with a smile!!!!!
