Default Calcasieu Lake 5/31

When this morning with my brother in law and scratched. When we left the landing, we headed south and were going to fish some birds but the trolling motor refused to work. Tried to drift on them but that didn't work, I guess it could have been because I was cursing the trolling motor the whole time we fished. We fished a few other spots with no luck and then the weather started coming up so we decided to head in. All in all it was a good trip because I was out in the great outdoors and not at work.

Water was cloudy for most of the lake, West Cove was a little cleaner.

We got to the landing about 11:15 and the rain started just as we were in the truck leaving.

Well the trolling motor cost me $100.27 to fix it. Had a bad battery, after fighting for about an hour to get it loose, I finally got it and bought another to replace it. It works like a champ now.

At least you were out doing what you love. This will make the next trip when you smash them that much better.

I don't have to tear them up, just like to feel something on the other end of the line a few times a trip.
