Default Crabbing n tubing in BL

1- where's a good spot to take the ole lady plus a few others crabbing in n around BL we will be staying in angler bay in joes so I don't want to go by truck. Thx

2- the same weekend I would like to do some fun activities with the women such as tubing and hydro sliding. I was thinking choupique bayou, but I don't want to mess up anyone fishing. Please help fellas

Unless you know Choupique well, I would not tube in there.

We used to ski in the channel or ICW.

Intracoastal would be your best bet, ellender bridge and west should be good to go

Could always run up to 210 where everyone else tubes, or above the saltwater barrier.

Best place to tube in right in front of Hebert landing...that is kind of the water sports area ..no oysters beds and will not mess up people fishing

All in front of the camps

Only place I know to crab is weirs or hog island gully out of west cove

I have heard that Hog Island gully is fairly good place to catch a few crabs.

But..... the one time I tried cabbing there I did not catch any. This was 10 years ago.

I would try a few spots along the ship channel where there are rocks. Or maybe at the mouth of Kelso bayou.
