Default 6/26 Beach Trip

Jumped in with Meathauler and Mike this morning and headed down to Cameron to catch the Fairy. Only problem was it had just left when we pulled up first in line. Stopped at my usual spot and had a blowup first cast on a pank skitterwalk and just knew it was a sign. Threw tops for the next hour with only sporadic blowups but no takers. Switched to salty grub and started picking up fish but not what I expect from the rocks. Dumped my 5 trouts and headed east and second set I finally found the pattern (west side and east no more than 15'). Anchored yak and proceeded to wack them putting 10 more on my stringer for 10:00 am.
MH and Mike were at a disadvantage due to the high tide and ended up with 10 between the two of them. Wind changed at a little after 10:00 to east and the rocks muddied up quickly as did the fishing. Can't wait for the next front that brings me some north wind.

Red FisherPrice yak with curb feelers. Was in the brown chev 2500 4wd.
Doubt it is still green, was mudding up when we left at 11:00 am and wind was picking up out of the east. If we would had one more full day of north wind it would have been money in the morning and my a$$ would have been back down there.
