Hairout Not a happy fisherman

My cousin called me around 9 last night begging me to take him fishing since he's on his days off. I told him we can make a quick morning trip because I had things to do around the house later this afternoon. He said he'll be at my house at 4:15. I sat on my porch until 5 calling him. Apparently he found his way to the bar so he couldn't make it!!!

Yep, I can't stand it when people do that. The other thing that gets me is when you invite someone and they stay up all night drinking, they show up in the morning but complain the entire time about how he just should have stayed in bed.

Had a buddy do that to me on opening day of turkey season. I was going to head to our camp in Tensas and he basically begged me to go with him to his camp that no one turkey hunts. I was to meet him at in the middle of Union Parish, he didn't show got drunk all night.

Headed to Tensas via Union Parish and got there at 8 am opening day. He was very reluctant to answer the phone when he woke up

If someone doesn't show up early they are late in my book. I'd leave em after 15 minutes unless they had a good reason. Happened on a few hunting trips before.

X2. I was always taught that 15 minutes early is on time and on time is late. I just wish everybody believed that too..

What pisses me off is he calls last minute to go knowing that I was setting MY house up today for HIS step-daughters birthday party..... People amaze me!

When i was hunting in pine island i had a guy i worked with beg me to take him hunting so i invited him. Well the night before the hunt i told him to meet me at my house for 4:30. He calls me and says he has a flat i tell him cool i'll wait. This sob shows up at my house with alcohol all on his breathe at 5:45 which i can't beleive i waited that long, but i gave him the benefit of the doubt. I cuss him lower than a dog, i tell him to get back in his truck and sleep it off in my yard. Get to pine island, and while getting everything set up the specks are flying like crazy. By the time i get in the blind and loaded they turned the switch off and it was like a ghost town. I was so pissed i left and told myself if was still there i was gonna wake him up and kick him right in his balls. Needless to say he was never invited back.
