I have an android phone and use the Navionics app. It works great. I know they make it for the iPhone and if its anything like the android version it should work great on your phone.

Does it work even when you have little or no service on the water?

Navionics does and they all should. It uses the GPS in your phone, not the phone network.

Navionics has changed the app and you must turn it on while you have service, so it can validate your license. As long as you use it in areas you already downloaded the maps for, you can use it anywhere. You can keep track of your routes and it gives you depth in foot increments. If you’re going to mark your fishing spots, make sure you select don’t share, or everyone will be able to see them. I only mark the ones I don’t mind people seeing. You can even add what works in that area and other details.

does anyone know of a site/app where you can see the tide prediction and what its actually doing? I've seen W post some screenshots of it before, but all i can find is the tide gauge in big lake. I'm more interested in the Cyper. Point area
