Fourchon Oilmans Reds and Trout 7-14-12

Roy Buchler and Matt McDaniel with BISSO Marine fished with me on Day 2 of the Fourchon Oilmans. We started the morning slinging trout in on Topwater and double rigged cocodrie Cocahoes, Matrix Shad, and ole school sparkle beetles. We made a move when things slowed and found the trout piled up wanting swimbaits. All three of us were busting them just about every cast. The guys wanted to catch some reds, so we left the fish biting to hunt for reds. It did not take long as Roy started hooking reds left and right. Matt found out how easy it was to catch on live shrimp under a cork also. We called it a day with the box almost full to the top. Back at the camp we had boiled seafood prepared and BBQ grilling on the pit. First class all the way, thanks again Roy and Eric for all you guys do. Special thanks to Capt Travis Miller, Chris Venable, Joel Wakeland, and Anthony Kyzar for putting everyone on fish and showing them a great time.
