Default Grand Isle Beach side, affordable?

I am looking for something on the Grand Isle beach side for August 3-4th. Usually we can find a decent place since everyone goes the week before, but the usual places we go are booked. We want two rooms and a kitchen/kitchenette, we don't need an entire camp. Even something nice on the other bay side would be OK, but we would prefer the beach side.

Sun and sand cabins are great. cabin #2 is the best. its not on the beach side but its right on the highway and 100yds from the beach. 2 bedroom with kitchen/bath/livingroom/balcony deck/ concrete all underneath

I think its 125 a night

I am just trying to avoid Ricky's or similar. Someone recommended Breakers and another Dolphin Inn, I am going to call around tomorrow. The place we had fell through.

We stayed at Cajun Tide this past weekend. It was on the Beach side with Kitchenette. Place was clean and people are friendly.

That is where I wanted to stay, they are booked!

I already told them to book me the weekend after the Rodeo for next year!
