my opinion only.......
Venice is an area where you fish "water" more than "places" If you are targeting redfish, green water with modest depth, (6 plus) that is nervous and moving is always good. Trout is tougher, but the east side of the river is good this time of year out of Babtiste Collette. fish good colored water on rigs in 12 - 16 feet is perfect. it would be great to fish with a guide one day to learn so tactics for the area. It's such a wide expanse, a small mistake can turn big quickly. I have not been out there in a while so my advice is worthless really. |
