Wound Up is one of the top charters boats in Bermuda and takes customers on daily adventures from this tiny island in the middle of the Atlantic. The offshore action can be good year-round but the primary season runs April - November. The "spring run" for wahoo and tuna is between April and June, whereas the best marlin fishing occurs June - August. A second wahoo run occurs September - November, when catches of 10+ 'hoos per day are commonplace.
Wound Up is perhaps the most decorated boat in Bermuda, with recent tournament wins including 1st place in the '11 Bermuda Billfish Blast and highest scoring local boat in the '09, '10, and '11 Bermuda Triple Crown. Capt. Robinson also has two "grander" blue marlin to his credit, with a 1,049 lb in 2008 (first and only grander landed by a female angler) and an estimated 1,200lb beast released in 2001.
If you're looking for a great fishing destination, you need to have Bermuda near the top of your list...check out
