Wasted tank of gas one fish and it was too short where should I try tomorrow morning

I was at work yesterday, would have really liked to have 'wasted' a tank of gas yesterday on the water

Used live shrimp under cork and Carolina rig fished heberts west cove all wiers any help would be greatly brought some guys I work with and I hate to wast all there money thanks in advance

Last year about this time I found specks and red's bitin between 9mile and super cut on the shielded side of the channel and get this live shad was the best bait.Sorry haven' t been on that side of the lake.I've caught well behind the weirs on a incoming during the week with less traffic.
