Default Acme or Parrains?

Headed to Baton Rouge for the game and looking for a place to take my daughter to lunch. Would you BR guys recommend Acme or Parrains for lunch? I really enjoy Acme in New Orleans but have never been to the Baton Rouge location. Also I'm open to other suggestions, Twin Peaks is not an option today.

If you are around the campus try Walk Ons or Chimes...
Also, just a little North of campus (downtown), Capital City Grill is good.

Never even heard of it.
However, besides for work (eating out with clients) I never really eat out in BR. Prairieville area has several nice places to eat now.

They just built a Sammys about 2 miles from my house off airline in Pville....You swear this is the only place to eat in LA....it has been open for about 3 weeks and it is packed every day.

(POX, btw I spoke to your old GF at Boats Unlimted yesterday....LOL....needed a new boat cover)

MRIGUY, there is a Sammys I not too far from LSU (ate there 1-2 times)....I forgot what road it is off of but I am sure you can google it...

Chimes is a great game day place to stop by and eat. I prefer Parrains over Acme in BR.
TjRibs is a great after game stop, they have a very nice LSU memorabilia collection including the Billy Cannon Heisman trophy and some of Pistol Pete and Shaq's old items.

If you are a member of TAF, they have food at the TAF tailgate party.

I cannot go today (my oldest son has a 7:00 kickoff), my wife and youngest son are going and they will be at the TAF event.

Ruffino's is awsome, no doubt. No my oldest son has a football game that does not kick off until 7:00 in Houston so I can't make it. I am helping coach his team this year so I can't miss this week for the opening game. I will not be able to make next weeks game either. My wife is going without me this week lol...

I think a ex lsu player owns it.... Only went there once. Only issue is for guys to the West, it is about 8-10 miles South of the campus, traffic can be an issue heading back West.

Agreed, that is why we do not go by there anymore since we are always coming from the west. We stop at Chimes and pasttime when we eat at before the game. Usually we are running late from kids football so we go straight to the game and eat at the stadium and never get to tailgate.

I would say coming from Denham - TJribs or even Parrains
Gonzales - Ruffino's or Sammy's
West - Chimes or Pasttime
