Default Offshore Venice La

Well now that issac has passed us we can get back to fishing. Not really of course because the road to venice is flooded and the power situation is really messed up with tons of poles down.

On better news I fished the last five days before the hurricane hit and had 4 great trips and one bad tuna trip. Dont know what happened that day except it didnt happen for me at all. There were plenty of fish caught on poppers during the run with the majority overall coming on live hardtails. All of the popper fish were on frenzy poppers. I tried chumming and jigging with no luck whatsoever. I was catching most of the fish on 60 flouro with baby hardtails.

I fished the sunday before issac and the fish bite went off in the afternoon. I was sitting on clean ice at noon and at 430 I was back at the dock with 7 yf in the box. It went from as slow as it could be to as good as you could ask for.

Heres some pics and I have some videos coming up soon now that I have plenty of free time to edit.

4 of the 5 days I fished I had between 6-9 yf and the one odd day I had I had no yf. I went 0-3 on tuna and had to go catch amnberjacks to save the day and got my limit of 6 ajs that day.
