Default Marsh Island yesterday

Went out to Marsh Island yesterday afternoon to run my new motor and check out the fishing. Got out about 4 PM at the end of the rising tide. We stopped at weir and picked up a couple shrimp and mullet, not a lot happening. Went to a spot that normally produces, but not much happening there either, caught a couple small reds, and a little flounder, but no keepers. Ran across to pass and didn't do anything, I guess the old adage is true.....I shoulda been there at low tide! The water in Marsh Island is pretty and I was probably just fishing wrong spot at wrong time. We only fished about an hour and a half, because I wanted to try and get the break in hours on motor finished up.
