Grand Isle Today

Went help my neighbor who owns an AC business on a job in Grand Isle today. The Island looks really good, didn't see much damage at all. The worst damage was right over the levee in Golden Meadow and it wasn't that bad.

The job we went on was to install a condenser unit on a camp. The wind from Isaac blew the unit off the camp. Word of advice if you have a camp, make sure the condenser unit is strapped down, that was the only damage the guy had to his camp. A $15 strap left on the store shelf cost him over a $1000.

Dang.... Those winds must have gotten bad. At least that is all that person lost.

Camp owner told me he knew of 15 others that their units fell off from the winds. None of them were strapped down.
