Go to LCT or see OB at Sulphur Tackle and he can hook u up. Once you get to certain price its all about what your prefrence is. Id go look at a few different types before i buy

I have to agree with Kenmore: the 4000 model is perfect for inshore fishing. I don't own the Battle model but I have both the Conquer 4000 and the Sargus 4000. You can't beat Penn spinning reels. You will be very happy with the Battle 4000.

The Okuma Trio was on sale recently at Academy. i picked up a 40s for 50 bucks. Happy with it so far. Only complaint is that the handle is not reversible so if you want handle on right side that is not possible.

I have it on a wright and mcgill blair wiggins signature series rod. 7'9" Medium action, Medium Heavy power spinning rod. It is the perfect combo!

I use the 3000 fierce for all my spinning need. Almost all the guides in my area are going to these for their clients. Penn makes a better spinning reel than shimano IMO

I went and bought the Battle 4000, decided i needed more line on my reel so I wouldn't have to change it so many times. Used it Saturday and it worked amazing. Really smooth on my first outing with it.Now to figure out how to change the handle to the right side of the reel ha. Thanks for all of the advice.
