Default Flounder Hook - Flounder Fanatic

I was fishing today and a person i gave some fish to one day was waiting for me when i got there. He said he had these hooks that he wanted me to try and see if they worked. He remade the hook to match the on in LA sportsman Mag that are specifically designed for draggin flatties. He says they sell for $9 on a 3 pack. Has anyone used them? Its a one oz weight, which seems heavy, but on a good sandy flat i dont see that being an issue. I will try it this afternoon and post my thoughts. Check this out.....

i like the concept of those plastic weedguards in your pic OB... i was thinking about a steel one like the bass shaky head it but ruled it out due to the fickle mouth of trout. Fuze i want one of those hooks for this weekend.... i find it hard to believe that a 1/4 oz is not optional. let us know how you do this afternoon.

Man I have ONE of these hooks and this guy made them himself - he got the plans from LA Sportsman - otherwise i think a 1/4 would be legit. Even a 1/2 oz in the channel - ya that would be pretty sweet too

Regular lead heads have been working fine for years. Looks like they are trying to catch fishermen instead of fish. $9 a 3 pack!!
